Army ACFT Alternate Event Calculator
Your Alternate Event Score
The Army ACFT Alternate Event Calculator is designed for soldiers who are authorized to complete an alternate aerobic event in place of the 2-mile run due to a medical profile. Simply select your alternate event, enter your age, gender, and time, and view your ACFT score instantly.
🔹 Step 1: Enter Your Age and Gender
Scoring varies by age and gender, so start by filling in:
- Your Age (e.g. 25)
- Your Gender (Male or Female)
This helps the calculator reference the correct alternate event scoring table.
🔹 Step 2: Choose Your Alternate Event
Next, pick one of the approved alternate aerobic events from the dropdown menu:
- 🚶 2.5-Mile Walk
- 🚴 12K Stationary Bike
- 🏊 1K Swim
- 🚣 5K Row
Only one can be selected. These are authorized substitutions for the 2-mile run under Army ACFT alternate testing rules.
🔹 Step 3: Enter Your Completion Time
Manually input how long it took you to complete the selected event (in minutes and seconds).
- Your time is compared against the minimum passing standard.
- Score range: 0 to 100 points (based on speed and standards).
🔹 Instant Score Output
Once all fields are filled, your ACFT alternate event score is displayed automatically.
🔹 Key Notes
- Alternate events do not count for a max score — they are pass/fail-based, but can still award points.
- You must have official authorization (profile status) to take an alternate event.
- Standards may vary by event type and age/gender category.
⚠️ Reminder
Always use the latest ACFT alternate event standards as published by the U.S. Army. This tool follows official data but should be used for practice and personal tracking only.
